Hai!

So, I finally uploaded some more stuff to the net, although, it's on conceptart.org.
Deviantfart just doesn't seem to be the place for much real critique, although it's still great for what it is most of the time :)

Here's some fun stuff for you guys till i feel I can submit anything slighty more "finished":
[link] the eyeballing game! Practice and measure your measuring skills!

Trendwhores

Tue Dec 16, 2008, 10:14 AM
Don't they annoy you?

It's sort of like when someone keeps repeating some nonsense someone else has said.
It wasn't exactly hysterical when the person who originally said it, said it, but now it's just downright irritating.
e.g "I'm Rick James, bitch", "bring me a shrubbery".
Like an obsessive compulsive person with a vacuum cleaner or one of those things you blow into at parties that make that "pfuiz" sound, over and over and... over.
I mean, it's not even their nonsense!

To all you Trendwhores (redirect where required please, i know a total of 3 people will read this journal):
Honestly, art isn't just some catchphrase you spew when you feel like it. Or to be "in", it's courage, it's you, or it should be, and if you're a success without trying that's not a mark of how awesome you are, it's just how superficial people's observations are or how obscure your sources must be.

I won't feign complete innocence, but srsly, stealing/ bandwagon'ing/ beating dead horses is not srs bsns. It's. Just. Lame.

Been pretty inactive on here, mainly due to being at uni,
I'd be lieing if I said I was going to be surprised if anyone even read this anymore but, well, If it was worth writing a journal without the net it's worth it with it too.

Just thought I'd update with some of the stuff I've done in the last year...
Not a huge amount, but I feel I've learned a lot and am glad I'm still at university instead of having quit, even if I were to quit now and never revisit that part of my life, it will still have been worth it for all the things I know now.

/sigh, growing up, it's great, but sometimes, as with traveling, I wish I were still on that particular journey that was exciting at the time, and everything was new i.e I didn't know what I was about to discover... mmh, better not jinx myself with alzheimer's.
Oh irony.

Expect to see some photos of canvas work (oil, acrylic, pencil, mixed) and Digital stuffs, MOO (Still holds true).

Happy new, new Happy Year !
